Lady Fatima_Masoumeh

The name of this honorable lady is Fatimah and her most famous title is Masoumeh

Her noble father is Imam Musa ibn Jafar (a), and her honorable mother is Najmah Khatoon, who is the mother of the eighth Imam as well

She was born on the first day of Dhu l-Qa'da,137 AH, in Madinah

One year after her brother_ Imam Ridha (a)_ was sent into exile to Marve and then to Saveh by the command of Ma'mun al_Abbasi, she moved toward Khorasan accompanied by some of her brothers and nephews to meet him (Imam Ridha)

During her travel to Saveh, she talked to the people about the innocence of her brother and announced her opposition against the devious regime of that time. as the result of that, they were ambushed by a group of their enemies just as her caravan reached Saveh, and in a fight that broke out between them, almost all of the men of her caravan were martyred

The resulting sadness and grief or the food poisoning caused by her enemies made her ill and therefore unable to finish her journey. So, she changed her destination to Qom, as she had heard from her father that Qom is a haven for their followers (Shias)

Upon arriving in Qom, shias rushed in to greet her and her camel sat down at a place that is now called "Mir Square", in front of the house of "Musa ibn Khazraj"

That honorable lady stayed in Qom for 17 days, during which time she was engaged in prayer and worship

Finally, on the tenth day of Rabi' al-Thani of year 201 AH, she left this mortal world and from that day onward, her shrine became a healing ground for those whose hearts burn with divine affection
